Butterflies – Symmetry Painting

This craft is super easy! All you need is to cut a symmetrical butterfly.

We chose black paper to create a beautiful contrast with the bright colors. Fold your paper in half, then use the scissors to cut out a half butterfly with the body along the fold. Then open the paper.

Add color to one side. Ana used ear sticks to make dots, lines and spots of different colors. You have to add a sufficient amount of paint to achieve a beautiful effect and get the proper symmetry.

Then fold the butterfly, press, or gentle rub with the finger and here is the butterfly.

Ana added the colors one by one, but you can add them once then fold.
